Should it be legal to use a gender selection clinic to conceive a boy?

Some interesting information we’ve come across regarding the legality of gender selection clinics. We found that using a gender selection clinic to select the sex your baby (for example using PGD) is actually illegal in many countries unless for medical reasons (for example it is illegal in the United Kingdom for social reasons).
What do you think about this? Do you think that going to a gender selection clinic (and using PGD -Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis for example) should be allowed for purely selfish or social reasons? Or should be be banned? Let us know yout thoughts by leaving a comment below.
